How many striped shirts do you have? I own 5. It’s probably too much but I convince myself each one is special in it’s own way. These ochre stripes are a bit of a departure from my usual black and navy, but I like it. I’m becoming a fan of long sleeved t shirts that are just slightly fitted but still drape a little.
Long time readers will re-call that I love the look of long sleeved t shirts on men (I find them to be a happy medium between t shirts and dress shirts; they’re not too casual, but not too formal; just right for most days). I think they look great on women too, especially tucked into medium-high rise pants. The breath-ability of the 100% cotton, the tuck-ability of its weight, and no non-sense silhouette are all on point for me.
In other news, I’m learning to make more dairy and gluten free recipes due to some new dietary restrictions the BF was placed on. Currently, I’m enjoying the almond cream cheeses from Kite Hill (at Whole Foods). I’m using them on gluten free crackers, topped with onions, dill or parsley, canned smoked herring or salmon roe, seasoned with TJ’s Everything But the Bagel seasoning. Yum!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Highly recommend.
Let me know if you have any good recipes to share, especially any gluten-free, dairy-free ones. I need ideas!
