I wore sweat pants to work today. Have I reached a new low? Ok probably, but who cares.
I don’t think these pants scream “sweat pants”. With the elasticated waist band covered with this long sweater, they look like normal wide leg trousers, totally appropriate for work. At least if your standing a few feet away and not paying attention.
These pants make me feel like I’ve gotten away with something. Like I’ve found some loop hole and really stuck it to the man. Screw you oppressive workplace environment, I’m going to dress like a total slob whether you like it or not.
Oh and by the way, I finally ordered the Clay colored Clyde pants and will probably forget I bought them by the time they arrive (4-6 weeks, they’re made to order).
Has anyone else receive a Zozosuit? After filling out a survey or something, I don’t even really remember, the company sent me one. It’s basically a black body suit with white dots all over. You’re supposed to wear it and snap photos of yourself in it with their app. It digitally maps the size of your body and stores that info into their database for custom fit clothing. So far they only really do t shirts and jeans.
The zozosuit has been sitting on my desk for quite some time. I’m curious to see how it works for jeans. Jeans are historically difficult for me to find the right fit because my leg to hip to waist ratios apparently doesn’t make any sense. I’m taking next week off for vacation (finally!) so maybe I’ll have some time to experiment with it then.
Oh and sorry for the awful photos, but I’ve been re-arranging some furniture and haven’t quite figured out where I want my mirror. I want natural light near the mirror but the space near my windows is limited. So I’m forced to compete with my window curtains for the time being until I can figure out a better arrangement, if ever.
One last note: I need new shoes for work. It’s too warm in LA to wear my HOPP boots and lace ups. These EL day flats are starting to wear out. And my SAS shoes are scratched up too. I literally combed every shoe with a heel height under 2 inches on Garmentory and did not like a single pair. OK maybe I loved the Martiniano glove shoes, but they feel a bit overpriced don’t they ($300)? I need to stalk it for several weeks before deciding. For now, I’ll continue to obliterate what’s left of these Everlane shoes. I may need to put my HOPP shoes up for sale soon too.
