Today, I was a student again…

I went to an all day class today about California mental health law.  It felt nice to be in a classroom again and to dress for class rather than dressing for work.  Sometimes I hate getting dressed for work.  During one of the break periods, I went outside for a walk and to get some fresh air.  A woman, maybe in her 50’s, walked up to me and said “I like your shoes!”  It was a quick interaction.  I said thank you and we parted ways.  I wondered if she recognized the brand from the 70’s or if she simply thought they were cute.  Anyway, it doesn’t really matter.  It was just a nice little moment.
