outfit: bandwidth

I missed you all!

Dealing with my new job and moving in to our new place has been insanely stressful.  I haven’t had the bandwidth to post as often as I’d like (sorry!).  But today I wanted to do a quick post with this new outfit I bought at Muji.  I love the feeling I get whenever I enter that store.  It’s so calming… This outfit feels calming too.  With how crazy my life has been in recent weeks, I really needed that. This top is so easy and flowy.  It’s made out of a cotton flannel material.  Perfect for cool fall weather. And this wool skirt is super soft and has a lot of wiggle room for big strides without any constriction around my legs.  I need that because I need to be able to walk quickly up and down the stairs all day as I meet with patients at the bedside. I’ve semi-regretted buying the Eileen Fisher system tank dress because in actuality, I can’t tolerate the constriction around my legs; so much so, I hardly ever wear it.  I’m trying to decide if I should sell it or not.  It’s sad because I love everything about that dress except that one thing and I’ve come to realize that one thing just might be a deal breaker.  It feels like a waste of money, but I guess I had to learn the hard way, what works for me and what doesn’t.

    1. oh that’s a good idea, although I’m not sure how invested I am in it to get the slit sewn in… on the other hand, if it still doesn’t work, it’s harder to resell once altered.
