Here I am in oatmeal again. I have two pairs of shorts now and have been wearing this 2nd pair almost daily. They’re from Everlane; for reference they are a size 4 (they run big and fit more like a size 6). I like the high smooth waistline and oversized leg opening. They feel like an updated pair of “mom” shorts (I’m not a mom but sometimes I like to look like one). The pockets are deep and can hold my iPhone 6+. With certain tops, I like to fold the hem up; they stay put and the pockets do not show when rolled up.
I love this little canvas tote, a free gift from Muji for visiting their store on Earth Day. It’s the perfect size to hold my small laptop and folds up nicely in my purse when not in use. On the weekends I like to carry this around in place of my crossbody bag to keep things light.
I’ve talked a lot about this linen top. I still love it and reach for it often. It washes well and did not shrink at all when I accidentally put it in the dryer for 1 hour. I found an identical EF linen top in blue secondhand for dirt cheap and did not hesitate to buy it because I desperately need more sleeveless tops for the summer. It seems like every summer is getting hotter and hotter. Last year was unbearably hot, so I have a feeling we are in for torturous heat this summer.

This outfit is EVERYTHING! I love it! You look amazing in it. I have similar pieces in my wardrobe. I can’t wait to wear them come summer.
I love it too! Thanks Sara.
