I’ve been loyal to nude and cream nail color  for the past decade.  But recently I’ve been in the mood for dark gray, especially this formulation by Nails Inc Gel Effect in “Hyde Park Place”.  

The ashy cool tones give off an industrial vibe that works with every thing, I discovered.  My nails in this photo were done 5 days ago.  There’s some minor fading at the tips, but otherwise they haven’t chipped in any major way.

All colors in the gel effect line are heavily pigmented.  You could probably get away with using one coat if you’re too lazy to put on two.   I’m planning on using this color until the bottle is empty throughout the cold season, then I’ll most likely repurchase this brand in one of my usual light colors just in time for summer next year.
